Welcome to Constellate - an app that facilitates exploration of the mind. This app is designed to investigate the link between beliefs, mental health, mood, gender and age. We aim to use your data to anonymously train a machine learning program to determine what truly forms our positive and negative beliefs.
The data produced by this project will be used for a master’s thesis project in Physics titled “Modelling the mind as a dynamical system”. This research at Durham University is by Chloe Djorbua and supervised by Dr Elizabeth Bromley.
Once the system is trained, you will have access to a wealth of data, generated by the software – such as your most prevalent beliefs, categories that your beliefs may fall into, and statistics about how your beliefs compare to that of the population. The more information we receive from you, the more useful your results so be sure to drop into the app regularly.
